Jan Achakzai  ABSTRACT This article assesses Balochistan's security situation particularly the state of insurgency focusing on five major sub nationalist groups with their leaders spearheading the Baloch ethnic militancy. The article suggests that insurgency has been substantially defeated and is on the last throws so the state has the  upper hand.
